Emergency Food Bank Collection

With the awful news of the fire that had damaged the ASDA store in Stopsley came the equally awful news that The Luton Food bank were struggling for donations as this store was a major contributor.

As a distribution centre for the Food bank we knew that we had to help!

The Chalk Hills Academy organised a drop off point in our meeting room for students and parents to bring an item from the list of the most needed food and provided tea, coffee and cake to keep our wonderful donators fuelled and to say a small thank you for their generosity.

We had a fantastic response to this appeal and managed to send a car load of food to The Food bank which will go to help those in times of crisis around our town and our local area.
